Westcountry Boxing was formed in 1989 when Chris Sanigar was granted a professional boxing manager/trainer license. In the past 20 years Westcountry Boxing has become the pioneer for professional boxing in the South West of England. Westcountry Boxing is based at the Bristol Boxing Gym in St Pauls, Bristol where there are top class facilities available for our boxers and members of the public to train. The Bristol Boxing Gym is also the home of the Empire Amateur Boxing Club who have produce top talent such as World Champions Adrian Stone and Glenn Catley as well as British Champion Lee Haskins.

West Country Boxing formed Community Sports Projects in 2007 coaching children in the local community and now in schools and community centres throughout Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
