Boxing in Bristol and South Gloucestershire Schools

Community Sports Projects are the leading provider of boxing classes in South West Schools.

  1. All Boxing coaches are current or ex boxers, who have boxed either professionally or as amateurs. We only employ those that understand what it takes to be successful and to inspire those around them.
  2. We have developed a revolutionary Non-Contact boxing programme specifically for schools and community groups and we have, to date, taught boxing to thousands of pupils in schools across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
  3. We have worked with young people from primary school age pupils through to those who have been excluded from school.  Due to the style and nature of these classes they appeal equally to both sexes and are enjoyed by all ages.
  4. The Boxing classes emphasise the fun in classes and concentrate on the ABC's of Agility, Balance and Co-ordination.

We have also mentored young people who;

  1. Have been bullied
  2. Are bullying other pupils
  3. Are displaying anti-social behaviour
  4. Are passive learners seeking confidence.

We run and manage non-contact boxing classes in a number of community centre locations around Bristol and South Gloucs in-order to enage local young people and offer them something different and positive to do.

We have worked with schools in special measures and have also worked with young people on the verge of permanent exclusion and altered their behaviour.

We have several case studies from school and other agencies showing the benefit that our work has brought to the young people participating.

If you are interested in our services for your school or group please contact us. We can offer Taster Sessions and references from schools and governing bodies can be provided.
