Sanigar Events are pleased to announce a night of action packed boxing at the Dolman Hall, Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol. With a change to the main event unbeaten featherweight prospect Ryan Wheeler will now do battle against tough Mexican Giovanny Martinez after injury has forced Southern Area Champion Jamie Speight to withdraw.
Wheeler will have to be weary of the threat posed by his Mexican opponent who has already scored two technical knock out victories this year. Martinez travelled to Ireland earlier this month, losing on points in a brave performance to the former British title challenger Paul Hyland Jnr. Martinez is no stranger to boxing abroad and will be unfazed away from Mexico having fought away in Canada, Germany and Ireland in just a 16 fight career.
Ryan Wheeler remains focussed and fixed on delivering a career best performance on Saturday night:
"I have had a good year so far with 2 solid wins, it's a shame that the Speight fight fell through but I'm not overlooking Martinez. Mexicans are always tough and I know that he will come to test me and I know that I'll be ready"
